I'm Becca - 
I love my work- I love the people I get to work with, and the places we get to meet in, and the adventurous, creative, and emotional experience involved in this line of work.

I am outrageously into outdoor adventures - I love whitewater rafting, climbing, camping, hiking, and trail running. 
When I'm not rambling around outside, taking pictures, or spending time with family and friends, I like writing, painting, and playing guitar.  I'm trying to get better at dancing, and I recently started roller skating a little.

I love people and plants and science and road trips and sleeping outside and expending ridiculous amounts of energy just to catch a good sunset.
 
I am hilariously technologically disconnected for the industry, but hey.  
 
Though I started shooting professionally in 2018, I've been taking pictures since I was sixteen.  It started as a visual journal of sorts, and over the years that endeavor broadened to include being part of visually telling other people's stories..

..Somewhere along the road, I realized that I love taking pictures of people- I love the work of trying to photograph portraits in a way that accurately reflects personality and emotion.

So stir photography was born from something that I've been crazy about for years: finding the unique light that stirs in each of us, and working to capture the expression of that light in a way that can be shared and preserved forever.
